The response I received has absolutely nothing to do with the problem I cited.

I just counted 14 tournaments completed since June 28th. What is going
on? Am I being penalized for something? What? I feel persecuted.

I usually have a 100% TCR. When I noticed my TCR was unusually low -
93% is unusually low for me, very unusual - I played at least half a
dozen tournaments last week, completing them all. Maybe a dozen. That
produced no change in my TCR.

Also, your new 'improved' version gives me 'lack of activity' notices in
the middle of tournaments, when I've been active.

Hi,

You cannot join some of the tournaments because
- either you do not have a Tournament Completion Rate yet, or
- your Tournament Completion Rate is lower than the restriction set for the
tourney you were trying to join.

The tournament completion rate is computed as an average percent of tournaments
played till the end (completed tournaments) during the past 60 days.

If someone has not played 10 tournaments yet, the software cannot operate a
comparison. Robot tournaments have no effect on a person's completion rate.

The only reasonable way to filter out the "runners" is to establish these
average rates. The whole process is automated, so we cannot manually add
exceptions - sorry for the inconvenience.

The completion rates are updated nightly. So if you play and finish some more
non-restricted tournaments during the next days your rate will grow and you
will probably meet the conditions required.

The fastest way to achieve this is to register as a substitute and play till
the end of the tourney. The tourney will count as completed in your stats, even
if you just joined for the last board.

Quite frankly, I am insulted by the response I got.

Firstly, I said clearly 93% which does not bar anyone from anything on BBO...

I would attach a screenshot of my history but it appears this bulletin board doesn't allow that.

I have been told I am noted as a runner by some tournaments and this is not true. What happened is some TDs allowed me to sit and wait to play with a partner for half an hour and then booted me as soon as the first hand was dealt. They did this because I complained about them allowing opps to stall us into an AVE when we had a good contract, numerous times. It was a pattern of sabotage.

So I have been religiously avoiding their tournaments. And I have had a 100% TCR for months subsequent to that, after I learned to avoid them ... until recently when it went down to 93% for no reason I can see. And has stayed there.

Reason it goes down: You didn't finish tourney(s). It is called Tourney Completion Rate.
You don't complete tourneys, it goes down. For whatever reason.

Didn't complete:

6806 on 2020-05-29
1222 on 2020-06-04

Completed another 31 in the last 60 days.

31 / 33 = 0.9394

If you finish one more: 32 / 34 = 0.9412, so it will show 94%.

You'll have 100 back on August 4th, provided you complete all the tourneys you start from now to that date.
