Auction 1: my responses to 1♥ are:

• Pass: Weak, 0-5 ish, no good bid.
  
• 1♠: 4(+)♠, approximately 6(+) hcp, typically at most 2 hearts (only 3+ with slam interest and 5(+) spades).
  
• 1NT: (5)6-11, semiforcing, catchall. Opener passes with 5♥332 12-13 or with 4♠5♥ approximately 11-15.
  
• 2♣: GF, CLUBS or BAL or FIT (0+ ♣).
  
• 2♦: GF, 5(+)♦.

This hand is a 1NT response, for two reasons. 1) It will likely improve the contract, finding a diamond fit, a 6-2 heart fit, or getting us to clubs. 2) We have a singleton spade. The opponents almost certainly have a fit. We should act now.

Auction 2: my bids after 1♥-(1♠)-? are:

• Pass: Weak, 0-9 ish, no good bid.
  
• X: Short spades (typically 0-2), max 2 hearts, both minors (at least 5-4 either way), at least 6+ hcp.
  
• 1NT: 8-10, spade stop, no heart fit, no other good bid.
  
• 2♣: (9)10+, 5(+)♣, 2(-)♥, forcing.
  
• 2♦: (9)10+, 5(+)♦, 2(-)♥, forcing.
  
• 2♥: Competitive raise (4-9 ish), 3(+)♥.
  
• 2♠: Constructive+ raise (9+ ish), typically exactly 3 hearts.
  
• 2NT: Constructive+ 4(+)-card raise (9+ ish).
  
• 3♣: Fitbid, good 5(+)♣, 4(+)♥, at least 7+ or so, willing to compete to at least 3♥.
  
• 3♦: Fitbid, good 5(+)♦, 4(+)♥, at least 7+ or so, willing to compete to at least 3♥.

This hand can go for pass or double, I will double here so that partner has a better chance of taking their 2♠ out to 3m, or take correct action at higher level if necessary. I don't like doing this with a minimum and a 6-4, and in a different system I played 1NT as a transfer to clubs (showing 5(+)♣ and 6(+)hcp). If I had that here, I would use it. But I don't.

Hi,

the 2nd auction is simpler, if you dont play NFB you pass, ..., playing NFB 2C is an option, but not a 100% action you have to take.
the 1st auction ..., I would go with 1NT.

My agreements are very like DavidKok (assuming 4♣/♦ is a copy and paste typo), but I would not double on such poor cards vulnerable.

The first is a no brainer 1NT.

I play KI5 so the first is 1♠ the 2nd X. If opener bids 1NT BD or ♦, 2♣ asks which.
