I cannot find this using a search.

I would like to play the competitive ACBL tournaments for independent Masterpoints which are played against opposing (real people) players instead of against robots.

Is there a list of tournaments that are setup this way? Or, how do I determine which tournaments have real people?

I'm tired of paying to play a tournament and then finding that it is robots with bids being automatic.

Thanks for your help in advance and sorry if this question has been asked but I've not found it.

Look for ACBL tournaments which are type "pairs" rather than individuals. There are also ACBL virtual club games.

The ACBL pairs tournaments do not run all the time. I just did a google search - here is a link that might help. https://www.bridgeba...l_schedule.html

Stephen Tu and Pilowsky, thank you both for very prompt replies and I'll be using the info you have provided.

I did play in a tournament that was Date: 2020-07-29 22:02 Host: ACBL and it was individual 12 boards.

I also played another: Date: 2020-07-30 00:02 Host: ACBL in both tournaments, the partner played 3 boards with you. At the end of the 3 boards, you rotated in both tournaments from either N/S to E/W.

Really enjoyed both and would like to play those.

If you are looking for the individual tournaments where you are partnered and opposed by humans in random rather than fixed partnerships, instead of the robots, then look for the individual tournaments that do *not* have either "daylong" or "robot duplicate" in the titles.

Look for the ones titled "Ind. ACBL [time] [number]"

Imagine how cool it would be to be able to filter the list shown

But your table will NEVER finish the round on time.
