When alerting bids in the new interface, please make it so that when you click on a bid to alert it, the cursor is placed in the "explain" box so you can just start typing immediately.

I have a solution that is better and immediate : you do not have to type alert explication at all :

See : BBOalert Firefox addon for full automation of alerts on BBO
- installation https://addons.mozil...addon/bboalert/
- project page : https://github.com/stanmaz/BBOalert
- my post https://www.bridgeba...isclosure-tool/

If you search this forum for BBOalert, you will find many posts

I'd really like to use this thing, but find it difficult to understand the instructions I can access. Is there a detailed readme for non-coders? detailed instructions/explanations of how it works, how to sue it?
Also, I read in another of your posts that you are up to v 2.4, but I can't get past 2.1.EDIT: I suppose that is v 2. 10?

At the beginning of the README.md file on the project page you will find the statement :

"All you need in the beginning, is to install BBOalert and play normally. BBOalert will :

record alerted calls
alert automatically the recorded calls"

In the "Recommended way of using BBOalert" section toy will find some more information. As you can see, the threshold is extremely low. Later you can decide to use the advanced features to cope with particular bidding situations.

Old posts = old versions. Only the project page is up to date (v2.10), or even few days in advance, as it is today, when the documentation is prepared for the new release (v3.0).

I invite you to join the BBOalert users group on Facebook : https://www.facebook...6384146770707/. Your questions will be always answered.

okOK, I'M DOING MUCH BETTER WITH IT, BUT HAVE ONE PUZZLE:
How do I enter corerct code for
1N nvul = 10-12 with stayman, smolen gF and all else natural
1N vul = 14-16 with all sorts of stuff after?
I think I don't get the @ switch, or how to use Option or how to indent.....

I believe BBOalert is an important development which deserves attention of BBO and its users, but please could Stanmaz and the BBO administrators agree a single sticky BBO thread that should be consistently linked and then followed for specific issues ? :)

,1N,10-12p balanced
1N--,2C,Stayman
... other stuff
1[CD]--1*--,1N,14-16 balanced
Option,1NT 14-16 @v
,1N,14-16p balanced
... other stuff
