Ropey suits vulnerable are a recipe for disaster. You haven't got a sensible rebid if you overcall 3♣ and partner bids 3♠s (with a different hand). While the subsequent bidding is GIB's fault, this hand has the warning signs of a misfit when the opponents open 2♥.
Whilst I'll be quite happy to bid 2NT Unusual red/white over a 1M opening, the 2♥ opener is limited and can be quite weak. If partner hasn't got enough to balance then the hand is probably not yours.
I know it's difficult to sit silent with 6-5 shape, but the vulnerability is a factor for me, and this is just my opinion. I always believe that if you open/overcall, you should have a rebid available whatever partner says. This hand isn't good enough to 'reverse' with 3♣ then 4♦: you wouldn't open 1♣ then bid 2♦ as an opener, so why do you want to overstate your values here?
