Can someone explain what happened inside bots head?

OH really? I thought Bot will always use this convention card: Bot's system which can be found here GIB System Notes.

Bots always play the same system, but there was a small robot upgrade early today which might have caused this.


For instance if one of you played the challenge before the upgrade, and the other played his boards after the upgrade, you'd have different robots.

Thank you, it does explain what happenend. But it should be avoided as it doesnt make the game fair.

Solution could be: When the challenge is created, it should define the bots instead of always get the newest one.

Well we have to upgrade the robots every now and then. Ask for a rematch, he would probably agree it's not fair if the purpose was to compare your skills and not who's got the luckiest bot.

Nice, I accept if bot makes that kind of mistake as it applies on both tables.
Thats only when bots do different thing at each table even the preconditions are same, would annoy me.

Rule #1 Never gamble with friends.

Rule #2 Never trust GIB's play or bidding.

Rule #3 Play with friends. Much more enjoyable

I met similar situation too and it was a grand slam omfg! I saw bidding and first trick same, and declarer's second trick led different suit. -16 IMPs to me oops. Well we met another deal which was a game, bidding and lead same, declarer follow different card. +10 IMPs to me. and I still lost 6.
Sorry my network is bad now so I can't post the deals.
But the GIB really need update. Several times I see GIB made very silly mistakes, as declarer just surrender tricks and down, and as defender just unreasonably duck and surrender many tricks. I hope this is fixed now, or at least will be fixed in near future
