Your 1NT was wrongly explained as 10-13.
VS a weak NT 2H is to play.
VS a strong NT its a transfer and your systemic response is 3C showing max 4 trumps and doubleton clubs.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

I assume by "wrongly explained" you mean that your actual agreement is to play a strong NT in this position. In that case you are obligated to announce your actual agreement, so say "transfer" and bid 3C. This will give partner UI, obviously, but you still have to do it.

If your actual agreement is to play a weak NT in this position, then you have UI, so you say nothing (as your actual agreement would not require an alert) but bid 3C, and you keep bidding according to your strong NT system.

This is all settled law despite people claiming other things on BridgeWinners.

+1 You are not privy to the alert and having agreements like this carries a stronger responsibility to fall on your sword when the forget happens imo.
When a deaf person goes to court is it still called a hearing?
