Why is that a problem? In social bridge that should be allowed. The kib can compliment any player with the play on the previous board, can ask South how his aunt is doing, while enjoying watching the game.
If this is what the players want, then that is what the players get. Should that be made impossible just because a kib once chatted "7D" to the table by mistake?
If that kind of reasoning would hold, not only guns would have been banned long time ago. Cars, shoe laces and garden fences would have been banned too.
