I remember leading my stiff queen in the middle of the hand to save partner's Jxx twice, only worked one of the times, and the other partner was finessed, so I think its just better to leave the suit alone and let the opponent missguess, unless he has clues of who has the shortness.

Usually when people say 10 it includes 11 or 12 in this context? Lol. But good point, I might like having even more than 10 when I bid a grand off the queen!
