Same partner and opp on previous post

I played 7, lead was Q, I planed to ruff twice and rely on trump 2-1 but the second ruff was overruffed by Q.

If I played ruffing finesse on C I could have made it but which line is the percentage line?

At the first glance it seems diamond break are better in percentage(4-3 is 61%) but there was some disadvantage about this line
1. potential overruff of when I tried to come back to my hand
2. I cannot cash AK before drawing trump
3. I cannot guard trump 3-0 anymore

Any idea?

I'm sure it's better to play club club club to see if the queen falls. When you see that it doesn't, there's nothing better than just taking the diamond ruff, the only exception is if south followed to the diamonds with the FOUR and the TEN, in which case obv ruff high against almost any north, but that's pretty lol.

Probably better to test 3 rounds of clubs and then falling back on the diamond ruff. But honestly I think this was just bad luck in the end.

You could even run the J straight off and see if North pops up with the Q- of course ruffing anyway, then ruff a diamond, cash a spade round and cash a couple more clubs.
