Number of logins

and putting in a user name. I'd like to think that all of those hours practicing with the robots would be anonymous. The only hands you should be able to retrieve should be your own. Or, perhaps, there should be a "share information" feature which allows us to decide what we want to have shared -- hands, logins, ...

I love myhands, especially being able to look up other players' recent results, but can understand the privacy concerns here, too, as it is essentially the same information.
I thought myhands only gave the last month? I like to think that this little information actually should be public.
Agree w/ bbradkey quit rate would be preferred, and/or total hands played/started/completed.
@ Uday: I would be interested to know both my THP and QR for 'MrDodgy', assuming this is also logged? Feel free to post it here.

I like the logins but I don't have time to peer at the jumbled profile to make out the login count. Can the server work up an attractiveness metric involving:
a. exorbitant time at a full table without playing at turn to play (not there)
b. leaving in middle of hand (some threshold that makes sense)
c. abuse-complaints
d. removing players frequently
e. how often you play (ok our MP levels icons does track that for many)
f. Chessbase also has peer-rating (idea originally championed by drtodd) using something called "applause". Peer rating works fantastic for what it is designed for. Even that other bridge site that is horrible has a bare bones peer rating system (that is horrible but better than nothing).
Thanks,
Dan

Yup, quite glad it isn't total time spent connected!
I personally quite like the feature, but seeing as I also believe the masterpoint-meter on the profiles should be optional (and I don't see anyone complain about THAT one!), then this should be as well. I don't think any of this information is a breach in privacy, really. It's just a matter of preference.
If an indictaive meter such as the ones people have suggested here is in fact created and put into use, we'll definitely see similar complaints from users complaining that they would rather not have to display it. And of course, the whole point of that kind of meter would be to give others and indication of how responsible the user is. This means it should not be private or it would not mean anything at all. It also means that a lot more people will want it to be private.

Change the dates. Depending on when the last time an update (purge) of the database occurred, you might be able to find from 3-6 months worth of hands (but only one month's worth at a time). If the purge occurred recently, there may only be a few days worth of hands available.
So many experts, not enough X cards.

Mostly, they allow you to flag people who either aren't reliable (don't show up when/where they're supposed to) or those who have not presented themselves accurately in their profiles and pre-meeting conversations.

That has existed for quite a long time.
In fact the marriage rate is quite high.
so is the logoff rate and quit rate.
Ps. let us report the number of divorces for each player too

The master point display in BBO seems like a similar achievement, and the number of logins seems a lot like the hours played. It seems like logins should be an optional display, probably opt in, since lots of users are technically unsavvy.
