You heard it here first.
And the local supermarket gave me seventy cents a gallon off when I filled my tank! Happy days are here again! Spend! Spend!

Agree! I saw at the supermarket parking several dudes filling their cars with expensive sorts of beer. No doubt, it is a sign >>>> people are more optimistic

Only in their dreams. I have thrown the offer away but no doubt this cc knock-off offer i got was supposed to appeal to my thrill at being offered such a prestigious card. Since I had never heard of the thing before your message, the scheme sort of fell flat!
But I will be sure to work it into my conversation at the next party I go to. "Oh yes, speaking of interesting colors, I have been offered a black card."
Thanks

edit: I thought "black card, which sounds a little ominous, but the literature says it's a really great thing" might have been a really clever thinly-veiled brag, and I was happy that I understood.
edit2: and yes, the black card is made of titanium. while I can't brag that credit card companies find me very interesting, I have at least seen the black card in action. the lady at the checkout line at the grocery store was completely puzzled.

In other words, were going to exercise a little benign culinary imperialism, appropriating ingredients and adding them to our larder. No one gets hurt, and dinner becomes more interesting.
