Happy Birthday!
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

I'll trust my vulnerable opponents today, no questions asked!
Happy birthday!

Thanks all!
I'll trust my vulnerable co-posters. Most of you anyway.
Very pleasurable day. Gave a lesson this morning and took the three kids to Salt Creek. We have an exchange student staying from Finland for a few weeks, and she got initiated on the waves the hard way.

If you are really 45 Phil, then this will mean something to you....
There’s an old man in the mirror
Who is staring back at me
He just seems to be saying
This is what I’ve come to be.
Too long ago, when all my time
Was always on my side
It was often really easy
To let most things just slide.
But sliding causes friction
And friction causes wear
And wear and tear as we well know
Causes more than just grey hair.
Its not so hard, to realize
That time can’t be denied
Despite our greatest efforts
A law, we must abide.
Don’t be surprised or seem dismayed
By how you look and feel
A part of you is still 19
And that’s the part that’s real.
So carry on and don’t be scared
Of what awaits beyond
The nicest part of any trip
Is always, coming home.
And home is where the heart is
And hearts are made for love
And love is never-ending
Unlike this poem, thank God!
