The one thing ask here, is who has the hearts? Assuming that W doesn't have 3, then that means your partner is sitting with them. They didn't have enough to bid 1n, or they were waiting for a penalty double. My "rule" for these situations, is to beware the misfits. That being said, 2c looks fairly normal, but I wouldn't bid any more after that unless forced.

The bidding by south does not make any of sense at all.
He cannot have a penalty X of hearts, he did bid 3C instead of X over 2H,
he cant even have a hand justifying a raise of 3C, but lets assume he has
a single and 4+ clubs.
And he is not willing to let them score 140, because he happes to have 23456
in hearts?.

The x is just garbage, or his previous bidding.
