On a slightly different note, how has the lack of weak-2s affected your results? It'll be interesting to see a breakup of the gains of 2M vs. the losses (if any).

Of course, you can play 2D Multi, but assume those events are way too rare.

Playing 2NT as 5-5 majors might be a bit high, but at least there's space for constructive auctions:

2NT--
3C = GF relay (symmetric + 1)
3D = Range-ask
Higher = To play

I did exactly that! Well, 2N was a strong bid (like 15+). I needed it to get rid of those hands from my strong club, not because I thought it an attractive way to handle these hands. No experience using this but you ought to be very well placed for a competitive auction and be able to make at least a part score most days.

What are the odds? :D I actually played 2NT as 5-5 majors and 15-18 hcp in the forcing pass system I played ten+ years ago. We needed 2NT as strong (because of strange system regulations), and used it to offload a tiny bit of hands from our 1!c opening (12-16 unbal any or 15-17 NT) and pass (0-7 any or 17+ hcp).
