Unfortunately there is no way to improve GIB, so the only thing we can do is to be better partners for GIB.
From yesterdays Zenith Daylong (So advanced robots)

Now according to system my 5 is an overbid, but it is an area, where there are many flaws in GIB's definitions, as this area is much more about distribution.

When the North bot passed I hoped I had escaped the dreaded slam bid from partner, and after the double from east it seems like all 3 bots was lost in space.

So how can we improve partnership here?

Well, the top went to the 3-opener, where the Bots ended in 4 EW. That is not my style, but an option, no I am more interested in the player that was allowed to double 5

5 of 12 went into this trap

Simple, just double and then pull to 5, now showing a higher range of HCP.

I will remember that, but when I try it I will expect the bot following its normal strategy og bidding, when they go down, and leave it in, when it makes :-)

Not to defend the Bots, but I do consider 5 over 4 an overbid.
I also have sympathy with the 3 opening but concede that is less mainstream and not particularly relevant.
