Recently I started to encounter a glitch when I tried to view the provisional result of a day-long tournament, it sometimes returned "Not Authorized". This glitch seems intermittent, AND it also coincides with another glitch that your friends' scores fail to be listed on top of the tournament result.

Can someone fix this glitch please?

I think 'not authorised' appears when you are logged out of bbo.

It wasn't the case for me. I have tried to log out and re-login, problem remains.

That message appears only for the "provisional" results and usually when a change of network is detected (eg you start the game on one device and finish it on another, you are using VPN, there's something shifting about your IP, that sort of thing).

It's a security measure and it only affects the provisional results. Once the tourney is completed and the final resutls are available, you can access those from any device or connection.

There are no friends scores on the provisional results, just your own.

Thanks Diana_eva. Yes it seems to be the case when I am using different devices or changing networks. I wonder how long it takes to reset.
Also, when I mention friend's scores not showing, I meant it in the final/complete results.
In other words, when provisional score is showing "not authorized", viewing the final results of a previously completed tournament will not show friends' scores.
So this security measure not only affects the ability to see provisional results, it also prevents friends' scores from being populated when viewing other completed results.

These both come from the same cause.

What's going on is that your request for the results is coming from a different IP address than your connection to the main BBO application. This sometimes happens on mobile networks and hotel or airline wifi, due to the way they use proxy servers. So when it's displaying results, it can't be sure that you're actually the player whose results you requested. Provisional results are simply not shown (you get the "not authorized" message) and completed results don't show your friend list.
