Casual partnership at the club, nothing other than basic agreements, no bidding gymnastics please.

Pass?
You decided, you have agreed to play NFB, you showed your hand.
Making a NFB is like making a preempt, you bid once, and only once,
unless forced.

If you have nothing other than basic agreements, then 2♥ was insane, and you already got lucky. Negative free bids isn't a basic agreement.
Double the first time and hope you can bid 2♥ on the second round to say that you were too weak for an initial 2♥. If not, you've said enough.

NFB?? There seems to be an unspoken agreement among players who just "bid their hand" that a 2 level bid in a competitive auction is not forcing.
How do you maintain your discipline, good bidding habits and composure?

If they play 2♥ is nonforcing, then they need another bid to make when they have a good hand with hearts. Which is where NFB comes - you're forced to double or jump shift every time you have a good hand:

But it's a very different system from standard bidding, and not something you could ever play without agreements.
More likely, they're not playing this at all, and would bid 2♥ with anything, which of course isn't playable.

Yes, I've had some fun with NFBs
There was a little sarcasm intended in my NFB??

Hi,
the only question is, if North should bid 4H,and the answer is yes.
With kind regards

2♥ was already an overbid. Having bid 2H, Partner's failure to bid 4 was an egregious error.Opps should be in 4S anyway.
