moving history to the side

On my computer my history etc has moved to the bottom how can I get it back to the side

In your Account Settings, enable "Split Screen".

I have this problem too. History etc at bottom of screen. I checked account settings and split screen is enabled.

What is your screen size? On a small screen, it switches to the tablet layout. But then it also shouldn't show the "Split Screen" option.

I don't know why that option isn't working for you. Try switching it back and forth.
