BB$ more expensive on ipad or iphone

I sent this question via email about 2 weeks back but never got a reply.

On my iphone or ipad, if I wish to purchase BB$ it quotes me £13.99 for 10 BB$. If I buy them on my computer it charges me 10 US$, approx £8.50. This is quite a difference and I don't understand why there are 2 different charges.

Apple charges BBO for payment processing
BBO passes this on to the consumer.

Always buy your BBO $$$ on your computer.
