Get to know why you don't join a tournamen

I host a tournament everyday, and everyday one to three pairs fail to join at the start. They swear they have both members of the pair conected, but I am pretty sure they are lying most of the time.

The other day it happened to me, a regular tourney I play decided to advance the start time 5 minutes, and my partner connected when it already started. And I only know because she told me, if she didn't I would had stood still waiting for it to start several more minutes.

It would be great if tournament cancelations were announced to players with the reason.
