I was fortunate. Note has 3 clubs, shows 4+ C. Has 14 HCP shows 17+ HCP. Shows 18-19 "points" the worst concept ever invented. Unfortunately does go down 500 so GIBBO was right as it turns out.

GIBug - if your hand does not match the bidding blurb stfu

To those who were under the mistaken impression that GIB defends double dummy, try following the play trick by trick and see if you still think that is the case.

I wonder if the c5 discard instead of count led GIBBO astray. Od course defensive signalling is so arbitrary. A crazy mix of attitude and count.

From previous posts by BBO, GIB ignores defensive signals when making plays, so discards by South should have no impact.

maybe GIBBO got tired discarding or did not watch the discards. Though facetious, I have VERY often suspected it is out of compute resources and chooses less dicriminately.

As far as the bidding, I don't think it was that absurd. GIB is allowed to deviate a little from its announced point count.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

thanks jdonn. Is it THAT difficult to put a software wrapper at the output which correlates blurb and bid?
