I also had to remind him to play our match, even though he was the one who issued our challenge, and I'd played my part the first day.

Xavierf Broze 19-12
Great match!
Please have a look developers to the defence from my robot partner on board 6, where he throws from ♦10963, first the 6 and then 10 and the 9. So the 5 in dummy promotes. He even throws the 10 and the 9 on two high cards of me...
Luckily the robot could Always make it by finessing on the 9 of spades, but I don't know if the robot would do that.

Remember, the bots defend based on double dummy simulation. So they sometimes do stupid things like this because they think it doesn't matter, since declarer will always find the correct line.
For instance, you lead towards AJ9x in dummy, planning on finessing the 9, which would have lost to a singleton or doubleton 10. LHO splits his honors, because it "knows" you were going to finesse the J and the 10 will be pinned.
Or more commonly they help you with a 2-way finesse, because double dummy players don't have a guess.

Sorry don't have access to the link right now. (Can't access the client and for some reason the My Hands database does not contain challenge hands. Why not!?)

Yeah, we haven't modified myhands to include challenges and daylongs yet. Here's the link:

Whew. Despite winning 8 head to heads and losing 4, had you won by 6 IMPs more I would have been in serious danger of missing the cut.
By my calculations, pio_magic needs to win the last challenge by 17 IMP to knock stoppiello out of 8th spot and make the next round.
