Rubber bridge, first hand of the rubber. You're playing a pretty plain version of Acol - if you open 1♥ and reverse into 2♠, you'll be showing something like a good 16 count, and most continuations will be natural (2N and 3m would be NF assuming P didn't start with a 2/1 bid).
What's your plan for a constructive auction after a) a 1N response to whatever you open, or b) a 2m response?
More broadly, what's your plan for if the opps start competing in minors?

1♥ intending to rebid 2♠ over partner's 1N. Will rebid 3♠ over 3m interference. Partner will know I'm 5=6 and very good ODR.

No matter the natural bidding system you use, the hand is good enough to initially bid ♥ and rebid ♠ twice up to 3 ♠.
The hand is a four loser hand and the suits are headed with top honors and intermediates. Whatever the hand lacks in HCP for such bidding, it makes up for in playing strength.

Agree entirely with the two previous posters, open 1♥ and rebid 2♠ followed by 3♠. You have described your 6-5 hand perfectly.

If partner has a fitting hand it probably won't matter whether
you open 1♥ or 1♠.
When partnership hands don't fit with partner holding 1=1=5=6,
the goal becomes getting out as low as possible in an
unmakeable contract.

No, when partner is xx/xx in the majors, you will play in the wrong suit, and your hand is plenty good enough in playing strength to reverse.

Where 1 ♠ might be right is when the quality of the suits is poor and level then could become an issue. Make the hand something like Axxxx Kxxxxx x A and 1 ♠ and 2 ♥ rebid would be right, not with the strong playing hand being discussed.
