Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

The ACBL still has not published its 2011 casebook from the summer nationals in Toronto, covering appeals cases. Is this an unusually long delay? Is there a known/published reason for the delay?

Hm. 16 UI cases, 15 of them for tempo, one for an alleged "grunt" which may or may not have been an alert - and I wonder why no one seems to have asked the grunter about that! 8 MI cases. 3 claims, two upheld by both the table TD and the AC, and one ruled flawed by the TD, with the ruling overturned by the AC. And one case where the declarer was ruled to have called for a card when he exclaimed "heart" on seeing LHO discard one.

Casebooks are published irregularly, in part because of other demands on ACBL staff and in part because much of the work is performed by volunteers. That said, progress has accelerated over the past year.

ACBL casebooks through the Fall 2017 NABC can be found here:

http://www.acbl.org/...nabc-casebooks/

Not all the casebooks have panelist comments. Draft comments for casebooks that do not yet have panelist comments incorporated are here:

http://bit.ly/acbl-c...-draft-comments

If you want to discuss a particular case please start a new thread, including the NABC, year, and case number in the title.
