Describing everything Roland has done for BBO Vugraph over the last ten years as "assistance" must be the biggest understatement ever written on BBO Forums.

I'm sorry, I had absolutely not intention to minimize Roland's considerable contribution by my choice of words.

Fred's post is BBO's official stance on this issue, this will be my last response in this thread.

Well well Barmar, running away from the issue-and hiding behind F.G.
I have no axe to grind with any individul except the faceless
AUTOMOORONS.who have destroyed a perfectly good system.well organised
and appreciated by a lot of poeple..
The forward planning by the moorons has left us alienated..
and as of todays date and time 1014hrs10/09/2012-
NO VOICE COMMENTARIES-what a fantastic improvement

Update Buffet Cup-what an overall DISASTER-reference voice commentaries.
it was non existent, and what there was was pitifull.
I would now refer to a e-mail dated Monday 5th April 2010.
From Roland Wald, when i answered an ad from BBO for voice
Commentators it ran into 4 pages-"Succintly put"out lining
Do's and Donts-with a input by our President F.G.
Para's 4 and 5 to the point. further on para's 8/9/10/14.
items desired.
My humble application was not forthcoming "No Umbrage on my
part" but as i see the situation now,Roland compiled a list
of entertaining and knowledgable competent persons.to do
voice commentaries-obviously some persons did not make the grade,
and i presume "their nose was out of joint" I refer to
Para 8 "expect the spectators to know who you are unless
you are well known world class player or writer,be prepared
to introduce yourself with humility"

Can we have a list of names Authorised by the "Automoorons"
with some background-information,as to their present and previous
achievements. I lost total interest,at some stages throughout,
there was one poor soul on his own,he certainly needed some
Backup.
all the right poeple have been well and truly "Alienated"
such a great pity-------- Kindest regards to all pirate22

There are over 500 approved commentators, so we're not going to post it here. The list is a combination of a spreadsheet that our staff had been using to solicit commentators and everyone who had commentated in any Vugraph during a 2-month period this summer.

Mooron is a Morphed word.applied to AUTO MOORON-being somewhat polite,
but the true word is moron {colloq}=an adult with a mental age of 8-10
years of age.perhaps i should apologise for my sense of Humour

Pirate, that news announcement Barmar linked as a response to your question about voice commentary at training tables was posted in the news. If I recall correctly, it was also sent as a pop-up to all BBOers.
