Imps, what is your call ?
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

I'd pass. If I bid 3, partner will nearly always have a hand that looks like a raise, but often it will get us to a poor or hopeless game. Something like Kxxxx Jxx x Axxx will look great to him, but it won't produce 10 tricks.

If we add another high card to that hand, it's worth a balancing double, which would allow us to take an easy penalty. Pass risks missing game when partner has something like the above hand but with four hearts, but that's a fairly small set of hands.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Obvious pass. You risk LHO having long spades and bidding 4S and having a huge heart fit I guess, but I am happy defending diamonds whether doubled or undoubled.

You don't have to bid now... but I get this feeling I should, so 3H for me. This is probably wrong, though.

I passed, this is how it went. What would you do with pd's hand ?

You seem to have faced a lot of voids.

With partner's hand I'd pass out 3. Double would have worked well though.
