I've tried doing exercise once and it was very good, I had too much alcohol in my body that was burned. I even felt I was the star of the soccer match lol.

Oh how I miss the days when I had to worry about that.

We had company yesterday and actually went through four bottles of wine in the course of an afternoon and evening. That's as close as I get to excess these days. I am moving a little slowly than usual today.

In my first Navy ship, we made a port visit to Manila. Several of us spent the first 3 days testing the limits of our ingenuity with fruit-flavored daquiris. On the fourth day, a Saturday, I went back to the ship to stand a day of duty. I checked the watchbill and discovered I had the Midnight to four am quarterdeck watch. So, at 1115 AM, I went to bed. At 1130, the Command Duty Officer woke me up, and informed me that because the Captain had elected to allow 800+ civilians to visit the ship that afternoon, I was to have the afternoon watch, and I had 15 minutes to get dressed and get out there.

Manila. In the summer. In the afternoon. With 800 strangers wandering all over the place. Worst hangover ever. :P
