Watch out ordering a long island iced tea on the strip in Vegas, they sometimes charge each shot as a seperate drink. I like Mesa Grill but that drink is not worth $50!

$50 LIIT is robbery imo.

Ever seen anyone bring a flask to a restaurant to save $ on drinks by bringing their own?

In the old days such mistreatment of customers would not have been tolerated.

1 month is clearly too short, I think 2 months or perhaps 8 weeks is a good over/under.

I think gaining 15 posts a day on inquiry for you is pretty reasonable, which would translate into ~1 month.

I was trying to influence the line so I could take the over all by myself :(

I just saw the Apple iPad presentation online. Steve Jobs looks like someone who thinks he'd hypnotized the whole audience. "wow look, if I want to open an article I just touch it" "wow look there's a little progress bar when I am searching through my album". Seriously? this is what revolutionary means nowadays? of course progress is harder and harder but could we be a little more dramatic? the last revolutionary feature they added to the iPhone was copy pasting, so I guess I should know better. what would be adding flash? a touch of divine genius? his whole presentation seemed to be based on the notion that the iPad is so much cooler than any laptop, but I dunno, at least on my laptop I can access my hard drive? nah we don't need that. we need chocolate toys. a nice advantage that I see is that it has great battery life (10 hours) and that it's much lighter than any laptop. so why not say something that makes sense?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

lol Mutu was caught doping. there has always been a serious debate about Mutu who was clearly the most talented Romanian (offensive) player in the last 10 years but really annoying and not a great team player by any means. Well now him being caught again taking drugs will settle matters. A good part of our country actually felt bad for him after the cocaine incident and the Chelsea FC lawsuits but I don't see anything of the sort now.

This video (not from the iPad presentation, but the previous one) is quite awesome:

This thread is a great idea.

With that said, Santa got me a wok for Christmas. I know a lot of you are baller cooks with some baller recipes (paging Hrothgar). Aside from the obvious idea of throwing a bunch of meat and veggies into hot oil and stirfrying with sauce and such, does anyone have any recommendations of ideas or recipes or pro tips or anything I might find useful?

I've never used a wok, and my parents never used woks, so I'm more or less going by instinct.

In fact, I may start another "what should i do for dinner this weekend" thread, with the wok as the central focus of my plans.

Please respond.

Had my first wok fire the other night. I guess it was too hot when I added some oil to start cooking.

You'll be happy to know that all the smoke detectors in my house work perfectly well.
