Since I can't respond to the posted announcement, I will just vote with my feet and delete the group which is now on top. I sometimes like to browse that area, but it is more convenient not to than to navigate past it.

The reason people visit a bridge forum is to talk about bridge....

I think barmar did a good thing - but then I close each of the general categories, so I only see the category name until I want to see the forums in it.

And as barmar pointed out, this isn't primarily a bridge forum, it's primarily a bbo forum.

Yeh, I would bet at least 5% of the time a person logs on to these fora so they can discuss the technical BBO stuff.

Definitely make it quicker for them to find it without being bothered by Bridge, while annoying the rest of us.

Sorry, this is pretty terrible and it makes no sense. But it's still better than the colour scheme so I don't suppose anything will be done with either.

Agree with most of the others. I don't like the change at all.

I moved three threads out of the BBO Juniors forum. I moved two of them to the Chinese forum, and one (something about TD qualifications) to BBO Tournament Discussion.

A thread entitled "I need help i hope is possible" was moved from expert forum to advanced forum, and a duplicate of that post was deleted.

Not sure where to post this, but is anyone else sick of seeing Lurpoa claiming a 20th birthday in the birthday list every few days, can't something be done?
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

What birthday list?

In theory, you will see no more birthdays from lurpoa.
The one on today has been removed.

Removed a post from the "American Law Book" thread in "Laws and Rulings". It was vaguely on topic, but provided no new information and seemed mostly intended to carry a link to a commercial website unrelated to bridge.

Moved the thread "Investigation on the feasibility of team match" from General Bridge Discussion to BBO Forum Events -- it's BBO-specific and intended as a BBO Forum-related activity.
