I think the claim Law works well and play on suggestions are ridiculous. They do not work online so why should they work in real life?
f2f laws work so well that the people are flocking to play; whereas online laws are so unworkable that players are leaving in droves. Err... um... shome mishtake surely?
Players of my acquaintance would prefer a level playing-field with one set of rules (laws and regulations) played globally. We deplore the tower of Babel, that the WBF seems to foster. Here, however, is a radical suggestion that takes judo-like advantage of the current daft setup:
A way of testing whether the "play on" formula would work in a f2f context would be for the WBFLC to ask an NBO to actually try it out, closely monitoring its effect; collating and analyzing feedback
The WBF might even try out other proposed rule "improvements", in the same way
