Adam I very much agree but unlike you the arguments are for me no incentive trying to fight inventions. They are challenges - challenges we need to deal with and to overcome. There are no options just to continue - the death will be inevitable. I think we agree that the task trying to avoid the death is worth fighting.

Adam you seems to focus on a specific application. FD is today a creative model, a model which explain how relation databases are working. This is important to all the many who are very scared of the future. FD will be much different if it is going to be used for general purposes, first and most about audience features but of course something about typing will be enhanced too. FD as you know it today is a very simple construction - in fact an example of what simple software can produce. Say it is 80-20 rule and you will be right.

The beginning is to wake the sleepy people or skip them!
